The town hall of Buesingen – the inhabitants nastily-affectionately call it “the glass palace” – is seat of the municipal administration. In general, once a month on a Thursday evening, the municipal council holds a meeting there. The meetings are open to the public. The previous mayor, Otto Weiss, made the planning for todays town hall. His successor, Gunnar Lang, together with architect Georg Birkle, carried out the planned construction.
In 1993 the new building was finished.
In the town hall’s Buergersaal (“citizen’s hall”) cultural and artistic occasions are held.

Several survey points (invisible) mark the border in the river Rhein, amongst others a stone: the boundary stone no. 1. This boundary stone in the Rhein who marks the border to the Swiss community Doerflingen and the canton Thurgau is a foundling and it even has a name: The Hattinger Stone.
